Thank you so much for your prayers for my daughter and for me. Praise the Lord that she was granted a further week to complete the work. It has relieved the pressure on her somewhat and she is already thinking more clearly about how to tackle the work although its still going to be an intense couple of weeks! God is good.

Papa, I lift up Tracey's daughter to you. You know her struggles and her fear. Draw her heart close to you in this time. Strengthen and encourage her, give her clarity and focus and success as she moves forward in you. Thank you for your faithful, unfailing love. Bless Tracey and comfort her as well. It's Belinda again, wanting to thank you all for your prayers. God really is enough. Over the last year of stopping, sitting, encouraging, loving, teaching these little ones on the street, 12 of them have left the streets, gotten jobs or returned to school. Not only that, all of the others have begun to know me as the person who loves them, the person who will always be happy to see them, the person who thinks they are wonderful. Some have been coming to church with me. There is so much more to do, but I have seen that, though a child can have no food, or clothing, or a place to sleep, things begin to change in them when they are loved. Thank you xoxoxo

Oh Lord, Belinda. She has so much experience in Africa and has seen the great need with their own eyes. It helps, but it's as if nothing helps. You come into distress and bless you all the children in Africa. They make you sick and take care of them. also always give you new strength for service of announces. thank you that you are with us.

Thank God for prayers answered. My husband and I have worked out how we can financially sponsor one of the children and today we received another child to correspond with, this child was offered to our daughter and she asked Compassion if we could be given the opportunity to be the correspondence sponsor for this child. Father, please give Joan peace. Help her to find rest in knowing that you are God, and you love these kids even more then she does. My aunt also was adopted and she has FAS. she is doing very well, but I understand how this can be very challenging for you and for your son as well. Dear father, please help lexy with this situation. Give her the patience and wisdom she needs to give her son everything he needs to grow. Please help with any blocks they come across with therapy and general growth. Thank you for blessing this child with such a wonderful family. In your name, amen.

Lexy, my heart goes out to you. My sister in law has a stepson with the same problem and you are right, nothing is easy with a FAS child. But we will ask the Lord to show himself strong in the life of your child and to give you strength and perseverance as you walk this long road. Heavenly Father, we lift up Lexy's son to you. Lord, you know his needs and struggles better than any of us. We ask you to work in his life and bring healing and growth. Help him to grow into a responsible, capable adult who loves you with all his heart. Give Lexy and her family the love and determination and stamina they need to get him there. Vivian, God bless you with peace in these days. Are there churches close by that might offer grief support groups. I went to one when my parents died. I got some good encouragement and made some friends Just a thought.

Vivian, you are not alone. Many of us struggle with the same pain. I pray that God will give you a new direction and that your heart and eyes will be open to find and follow it.

Papa God, we lift Vivian up to you. Please reveal yourself to her as she walks through this dark valley. Help her to feel your comforting presence with her and your great love for her. Remind her often that she is not alone. Show her hour by hour, day by day, what you would have her do. Give her purpose and direction, and the strength to put one foot in front of the other and keep on walking with you. Lead her out of this dark place and bring healing to her heart. You are not alone- there are a lot of shoulders you can lean on, but make sure you lean on the most important set- God's. I will be praying for you. and remember Phil. 4:13- "I can do ALL things through Christ, who gives me STRENGTH."

I know this was posted a long time ago, but I want to thank all of you for praying! Things have gotten so much better!!

Hi Trisha, Although I went to school for many years, I often felt my drive waning when I needed to be most alert and energetic. I do understand. However, being the maternal type, if this desire to sleep in class and lethargy about your studies, etc., maybe you need to check in with a doctor to make sure there is nothing you need to do about it. I don't think there's anything bad wrong, but sometimes a Vitamin B12 shot or something like that can work wonders. In the meantime, we will pray for you. Don't give up. As hard as it is to make it through your degree, it is a great investment in your future! God bless your efforts!
